Concept to Reality
Whether your idea is as simple as a scribble on a napkin to highly engineered drawing, we can help take your design and turn it into a product you can hold in your hands.
Prototyping is one of the stages of product development that we can help our customer with. We have helped customers manufacture their first prototype part through to mass production.
Machine Shop Services
Manual machining, CNC lathe machining, CNC milling, CNC mill/turn capabilities, part marking, Laser engraving, part coatings (anodizing or zinc phosphating), quality inspection, full CMM inspection and some assembly.
We have an extensive amount of machinery available to mass produce your product. Our team has decades of experience to aid in the streamlining of your project, whether it’s recommendations for ease of manufacturing, fixturing or assembly, we’re here to help you.
We have 2 CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to qualify and verify machining accuracy. These are critical in meeting todays tight tolerance machining. Our largest Zeiss CMM is in a separately controlled climate room and is capable of measuring to within .000047” (1.2µ). Our shop floor Zeiss CMM is used for daily production runs and is capable of measuring to .00009” (2.4µ).
Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, hardened, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Rohmec has built a new anodizing plant equipped with overhead bridge cranes capable of anodizing parts up to 8’ long and 4’ tall, in a variety of colors to meet the needs of our customers. Through class leading process analytics Rohmec creates a highly repeatable process to meet stringent certifications across multiple industries.
We are an ISO9001 2015 certified company. Rohmec holds quality in the highest regard. We measure our parts with confidence using equipment that is calibrated annually by a third party and we utilize different methods of measuring to cross check our excellence. You can be assured that the quality is meeting or exceeding drawing requirements.
Many of our customers require their product to be zinc phosphated. This is a chemical treatment of the part in order to protect threads and to inhibit oxidation. We have 2 separate phosphate lines in order to accommodate the smallest of parts to large bulky parts. Our daily titration (quantitative chemical analysis) ensures your product meets industry standards.
